At our squadron, we aim to allow as many people as possible to join. To do this, we run 12 week intakes during which the juniors learn the basics of being a cadet - all whilst experiencing the core aspects of cadet life.
At our squadron, we have three 12-14 week intakes that consist of both theory lessons, and more practical aspects such as drill and fieldcraft. We also aim to take everyone through a basic first aid course as well as a weapons handling test in order to give them a head start in the Corps.
As a part of the intake, you will be in a flight with like minded individuals - learning basic aspects of squadron and cadet life, as well as developing the core values that would allow you become a highly successful cadet and get the most out of the organisation. |
At the end of the intake, each new cadet is issued with uniform and they can begin to reap the full benefits of being in the ATC. With roughly three intakes annually, overseen by experienced cadet NCOs and staff, everyone is welcome to join and give it a go. The squadron is open to anybody wishing to try new things and those who are up for a challenge!
For dates of the intakes, more information or any questions in regards to joining us, see the Contact page for details. |
